What Does a Business Valuer Do?

Business valuers are experts in determining the value of diverse business entities. Their role involves impartially assessing tangible and intangible business assets, including intellectual properties like copyrights and trademarks, as well as complex agreements and financial securities. They are instrumental in facilitating major business decisions through their involvement in financial analyses for mergers, acquisitions, and employee stock ownership plans. Moreover, their valuation expertise is crucial in legal contexts such as estate and gift tax assessments, securities litigation, and matrimonial property divisions, providing reliable and unbiased valuations for a wide range of purposes.
